Get Active

There are loads of ways to get more active and it doesn't matter what you do or where you are as long as it adds up to over 2½ hours a week.
  1. Do something you enjoy like gardening or taking the dog for a walk, play sports, dance, or hit the gym.
  2. Try something new. You will create a sense of achievement and increase self confidence learning a new skill.
  3. Meet a friend for a walk or bike ride.
  4. Park the car and walk the rest of the way.
  5. Take the stairs.
  6. Walk and talk with a friend for half an hour before going for a coffee.
